
Monica Crane is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She offers psycho-educational, social-emotional, behavioral, and career assessments, as well as counselling services, for children, adolescents, and young adults. In her practice, she utilizes a holistic & integrative approach to ensure that the unique needs of each client are met. Areas of support and service include:
– Learning Disabilities and academic support– Giftedness– Attention and behavior– ASD and Developmental delays– Anxiety, Depression and other mood difficulties– Social and peer conflict– Career and interest exploration
Monica holds a B.A., a B.Ed., and a Master of Counselling degree. She has 15 years of experience supporting youth and their families in a variety of educational and community contexts. She is a certified teacher, currently in the role of Assistant Principal. When Monica is not at school or in the office, she is a volunteer community therapist with Wood’s Homes, and provides presentations to educators and other youth-focused professionals on building adolescent resiliency, supporting anxious learners, and advancing trauma-informed educational practice.
